this the better purchase March 11, 2010 BomberoMTB (Grecia, CRC) This watch is beautiful, when seen at any time, even the sun, at night light makes it look so nice.
it's a great purchase
Not what is described March 9, 2010 D. Hoover (Mikado, MI USA) I purchase watches with full metal cases because I am hard on them. The product description says it has a stainless steel case. This is misleading. The bulk of the case is plastic with a thin layer of metal over the plastic. Not a plating, but a thin metal case with the plastic case on the inside. Also there seemed to be a large amount of plastic and rubber involved with the watch band to case connection. The watch only weighs a few ounces, but is on the large size giving the impression of a very cheap watch. The kind you get for free when you order something from a catalog. This watch might survive a white collar lifestyle, but anyone that works with his hands would destroy this in weeks or shorter.
As for the timepiece itself, it is legible, but I only had it for a few minutes before arranging for its return, so I have no idea how accurate it is.
Good For Everyday February 26, 2010 Rudy James Jr. (Pleasantville, NJ United States) I just got this watch today 2/26/2010 while I am at work. So I have the watch I wear and this new one. The fist thing I notice is this is a very light weighted watch granted the watch I am wearing is a Seiko gold metal band. A bit dressy for work. The Casio is a nice everyday watch I like both the analog and digtial time settings. Setting the watch was pretty easy (it does require reading the manuel) The digtial information on the watch face is on a black background which gives it a mutted look and the back light does not give a lot of light to the dial. No where near as bright as a timex back light.
If you are looking for a good all around watch this is a good item not to dressy or flashy and has a lot of good features. 5 alarms multi time zones and stop watch. I will wear this as my daily watch.
Good watch, wrong specifications February 21, 2010 chych My watch just died today after 4 years of use, so I decided a review was in order! This watch has everything you could possibly want - analog + digital, time zones, timer, stop watch, multiple alarms, lights. Feature wise it is perfect. However I do think some of the specifications are wrong. The band is far too light to be steel, and it's not magnetic, so I'm inclined to believe that it is aluminum. Also I'm not sure how true the watch face is a mineral material, as mine got many scratches over the year. If the watch had better build quality, I would get another.
Nice watch February 18, 2010 Firefly (Madison, WI) This watch arrived on time and intact. The frame is a little bigger than i would like hence the 4 star rating. It has a lot of features that i like. I dropped it a couple of times on accident...but somehow it has survived and i am glad i bought it. If you are dude with a small wrist then this watch can be a little lower in your list...but if you are big guy then you shud be fine.
