Great Product April 14, 2010 Ashis Roy I like the item for its features as digital and analog time, temperature, moon-tide-temperature tendency graph and so much more. Great watch for the price. Only problem I faced was I had to shorten the chain.
Complex Timepiece April 6, 2010 William Conway Having used the watch for a month now, I like it a lot. It took a bit to get it set up - the manual is voluminous and it takes time to sort out where things are and then push all the buttons in the proper sequence to initialize it, but once there it works great. I was a bit disappointed to find out that the thermometer only works when the watch is off your arm - that is, if the ambient temp is 60 degrees, it'll read warmer on your body because of your body temp. Don't know yet the effects when I'm out in much warmer temps, but a trip to Egypt is coming up and that'll be a test. Anyway, it looks good, I like the backlite screen.
This is my 3rd Casio. Easy to set up!!!! February 27, 2010 N. Clark (WY Rockies) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I received the watch yesterday, but, put it aside until today when I had time to deal with all the "stuff" people had been saying about this one and some of the other Casio watches.
First, I decided to shorten the watch band by 2 links. There, that took just under 4 min. using a strong toothpick to push in the spring loaded pins to release the links. What was so hard about that????
Next, I put on my reading glasses to actually read the instructions to tackle setting the watches different settings: time x 2, date, DST, temp.,and etc.... Wow! That took just under 20 minutes. The temp. is right on.
What were all these people belly aching about these watches being so hard to set and having to take it to a jewelier to change the links in the band. Boo hoo!
The only thing I don't like is the plastic base of the watch.
The watch looks and feels nice.
out of 13 watches this one get the most use use February 14, 2010 Mark A. Bren (minnesota) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
out of 13 watches this one get the most use use I don't know if its just having the temp on it but its small and and easy to read so I seem to always wear this one
I wish I could buy another one of these watches??? December 31, 2009 Chaffee Cline (Northern California Coast) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
A great watch but Casio does this thing where the watch band pin goes into the watch is cheap plastic; after awhile the pin just wears out the pin hole and the watch is unusable because you cant put a pin in it to hold the watch band. A big rip off. I have had 5 or more expensive Casio watches become unusable because there isn't away to put the watch band on? I am sure that as people wake up to this, there will be a class action lawsuit against Casio for premeditatedly having watches to break after awhile. I wish I could buy a Casio watch, I wont give any more money to those con artist's. A greedy shame of them. What used to be a trustworthy brand is now just a rip off scam.
